Description
Un libro de cartón bilingüe y reconfortante acerca de la luna, el hogar, y pertenencia para bebés, niños pequeños y familias hispanoamericanas.
The moon looks down on children everywhere, offering a quiet reminder that they are safe, loved, and at home—no matter where they are or where they come from. Our Moon, Our Home/Nuestra luna, nuestro hogar brings that message to the youngest readers in a tender bilingual board book.
With simple, rhythmic text in English and Spanish by Phillip D. Cortez and warm, imaginative illustrations by Mafs Rodríguez Alpide, this comforting read-aloud is ideal for bedtime, quiet moments, bilingual storytime, and early language development.
Adapted from the award-winning picture book I’ll Be the Moon, this board book introduces themes of home, belonging, family connection, and the shared beauty of the moon in a gentle, age-appropriate way.
Here’s what makes Our Moon, Our Home/Nuestra luna, nuestro hogar a meaningful first book:
• Bilingual English/Spanish text: Supports early language exposure for babies, toddlers, Spanish-English families, and bilingual classrooms.
• A comforting moon and bedtime theme: Gentle repetition and soothing imagery make it ideal for nighttime reading.
• Home and belonging for young children: Reassures little ones that love and connection can travel across distance and place.
